The magician shows a box with lid and a die that has different colours on each side instead of spots. The die fits snugly into the box. The spectator is asked to examine all apparatus, checking for anything unusual. He is then asked to select a colour from the die and place it into the box replacing the lid. The magician has no way of knowing which colour has been selected. Magically the magician correctly announces the chosen colour.
