For
your information, safety and enjoyment we recommend the following:
1.
The operator of the inflatable must be a responsible
adult over the age of 18.
The operator is to be positioned at the base of the inflatable
where the front step is located; a whistle is to be used at
the first sight of misbehaviour, keeping an eye on the safety
and well being of the users.
a) The operator must ensure the
correct age of child only is allowed on this inflatable and
no one over the age specified showed be allowed entrance.
b)
No more than the recommended number of children to be allowed
at any one time.
c) The height restriction should
not be broken i.e. the children cannot be taller than the outside
wall
d) Only the required number of
children can use the inflatable at one time - no overcrowding.
e) The Operator must be aware that
the children should simply bounce up and down, with no climbing,
pushing or horseplay.
f) Care must be taken for users
to enter at one side and exit at the other. e. g. From the left
of the step to enter, right of the step to exit.
2.
Socks to be worn at all times. No shoes, spectacles, badges,
sharp or dangerous objects.
3. Please do not allow anyone on
the inflatable whilst inflating/deflating.
4. Children are not allowed to
climb, sit or hang on the inflatable walls.
5. Do not allow children to bounce
on the front safety step. The safety step is to assist users
in getting on/off safely.
6. Ensure the inflatable is not
overcrowded. Limit the number of users to allow enough room
for each child to play safely. Try to avoid small and large
children using the inflatable at the same time.
7. No food or drinks to be consumed
whilst on the inflatable to avoid both mess and possibility
of choking.
8. No face paints, party poppers,
coloured streamers or silly string as these make a terrible
mess and can also stain the inflatable for which you will be
liable for payment to clean or repair.
9. No smoking, fires or barbeques
to be used near the inflatable.
10. No pets to be allowed on the
inflatable.
11. It
is advisable to ensure that no one with any history of back
or neck problems use the inflatable.
12. In the event of heavy rain
it is strongly recommended that the inflatable is switched off
for safety reasons. When safe to re-use switch back on and towel
dry any remaining wetness before allowing children back on.
13. Water fights are fun but do
not spray water near the electric blower.
14. Occasionally check that the
inflatable is still securely pegged down.
15. Never switch the blower on
and off whilst the inflatable is in use.
16. The blower is to be checked
regularly to ensure it remains in place and to guard against
any accidents or loss of pressure. The operator should look
to check that no rubbish blows to the fan, any rubbish around
should be removed. No member of the public should have access
to the blower or electric sockets.
17. In the use of petrol blowers,
the fuel must be stored in an appropriate container, safely
away, during re-fuelling the unit shall be safely deflated and
the public away.
18. If the inflatable fails for whatever reason, evacuate
immediately to prevent injury.
19. Please remember if the castle
is dirty or damaged when collected the hirer is liable for the
full repair or cleaning costs.
20.
Before deflation the operator should check thoroughly that there
isn't anyone on or immediately around the unit before deflating
and packing away safely.
